Netflix maybe not clear enough about the deletion method of a Netflix account. But it’s actually pretty simple and easy to delete a Netflix account on your Android, iPhone, smart TV, or any device.
How to delete Netflix account
Netflix doesn’t directly allow you to delete its account on the app or the website. But Netflix automatically removes a Netflix account 10 months after you have canceled its membership or stopped subscribing to Netflix.
If you are already on its free trial, you can do the same as well by stopping the membership then wait for 10 months.
If you want to delete your Netflix account earlier than 10 months, you can simply request it through Netflix’s email firstname.lastname@example.org sent using your email associated with the Netflix account you want to delete.
You can delete a Netflix account by stop subscribing to Netflix on any device, but this method directly uses its web app.
How to stop the membership
To do this, you can open Netflix’s website. Click Sign in.
Here, enter your email and password to sign in. Click Sign in.
Select your profile.
Click your profile picture. Select Account.
You will immediately see the Cancel membership button. Simply click that button to cancel the membership.
Now, just wait for 10 months. Your account will automatically be deleted.
Netflix doesn’t directly provide a delete button to remove your Netflix account. But there’s certainly a way to do that so you can get rid of Netflix and stop associating your email to Netflix.
