Discord makes it easy to interact with people by making the app available for desktop users, including Windows users. But some find the app automatically opens on startup. Here’s how to disable Discord on startup.

When you install Discord on Windows 10 or Windows 11, Discord provides an option to automatically turn on at startup, which is the moment when you see your computer completely being turned on. But having Discord being opened automatically at startup isn’t useful for everyone.

Discord is quite heavy for an app, and some people might find the app slows down the startup process, and if you don’t use it, you would have to manually quit the app to save more resources so you can use other apps that are more important to work with.

Fortunately, removing Discord from the startup is easy.
