This is easy way to add a check mark in Word. The only thing you need is to select a font that allows you to add a check mark and then pressing a combination of keyboard button that lets you add different style of check mark symbols.
Choose Wingdings font. This is one of the most popular font used to add a check mark in Word. You can also choose any other series of this Wingdings font, like Wingdings 2.
