Some OneNote notebooks don’t show on PC? Try to open the notebooks on the web
This solution is simple: open the notebooks on the web version of OneNote, and then find more notebooks on OneNote Windows 10 app.
Visit the OneNote web. Log in with your Microsoft account. Click the notebooks that don’t show on PC.
Now, open the Windows 10 app of OneNote, and click Notebooks. Click More notebooks. This shows closed notebooks, or just simply hidden.
Here, you should see those notebooks that didn’t show previously on the Windows 10 app. Simply check the notebook and click Open.
However, this solution might not work for some people. That’s why there’s an alternative.
Force to open the notebook from the web to the Windows 10 app of OneNote
This is probably the only solution to this problem. This method will force the notebook to be opened on the Windows 10 app through the web version of OneNote.
Open OneNote web. Open the notebook that still doesn’t show on the PC.
Here, click Open in desktop app at the top.
Click Open to open it on OneNote Windows 10.
Wait for a few moments, and you should see the notebook on your Windows 10 app version of OneNote instead of the web. Once it is opened there, you can close the OneNote web tab on your browser.
OneNote may have problems, but there is always a way to fix the problem, including the notebooks that don’t show on the PC app. Now, those notebooks show and you can work on your notes.
