AirDrop allows you to send files, like videos, pictures, location, or whatever you want to send. One thing about it is that AirDrop creates a Wi-Fi network that both sender and receiver can connect, using Bluetooth. So, you have to keep the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on during the transfer.

How to turn off AirDrop on iPhone
It’s actually a lot simple to turn off AirDrop on iPhone. Simply open the Settings from the home screen.
Here, select AirDrop.
You are going to see options about AirDrop on iPhone. You can turn it off by selecting Receiving off. You can also select Contacts only if you want to receive only from people in your contacts, which is safer than Everyone.
That’s it. Now you can turn off the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to stop using AirDrop. You can turn it on again anytime you want. Simply go to Settings > General > AirDrop and select which option you prefer.
