Mouse acceleration is a feature that makes your mouse cursor move faster or slower depending on how fast or slow you move your cursor. This can be good for productivity at the office, but not so much or even annoying when playing games.

Playing games sometimes requires an accurate mouse movement, and if the cursor or the mouse pointer moves too fast or too slow, you might get frustrated when you miss hitting your online game opponent and stuff.

To solve the problem, you need to turn off the mouse acceleration. You can do this on Windows 11, Windows 10, and its previous versions like Windows 8.1, Windows 8, or Windows 7.
