Vizio, just like other smart TV brands, isn’t perfect. Some experience that Vizio TV won’t turn on/off, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be solved. Here are some suggestions to fix it.
Having a smart TV that won’t turn on is just infuriating. Bringing it to the service center can be expensive. Don’t worry, there are things you can do to try solving it yourself.
Vizio TV won’t turn on
If Vizio TV won’t turn on, the only thing you can do is power-cycle it. Power-cycling simply means force-restarting your Vizio TV but involves unplugging it from the power source.
First, with the Vizio TV that is currently off, unplug it. Wait for at least 30 seconds. Plug it back again afterward. Then, turn your Vizio TV on again.

If your Vizio TV won’t turn off, power-cycling it can also be the first thing you can do. Just like the previous one, simply unplug it from the power source, wait for 30 seconds, then plug it back in again.
Finally, try to turn it on. Or, try resetting it.
Contact Vizio support if your Vizio TV still won’t turn on/off
If none of the above works, the last thing you can do is contacting Vizio support. This solution also applies if you have nothing else you can do to fix the Wi-Fi problem in Vizio TV, or the “SmartCast TV not available” message.
